Since lately I received some messages about the old MQQT broker on ESP8266 I was thinking that it might be a good idea to restart the project.
The plan will be to moved it back to ESP32, where was originally started, in fact was started on ESP31B.
I will do that if there is some interest in this project, also if we can share the work.
Please let me know in the comments if this project makes sense or not.

ReplyDeleteHi friend.
ReplyDeleteI think this is an amazing project.
I am sure that it will develop if it is placed on the github.
I happened on your site looking for a solution to a fairly simple idea. To have an ESP32 device with a motion sensor on it control a sonoff device running tasmoda directly without having node red or any other sort of broker involved. I have a customer where something of this sort would be ideal. Essentially multiple under the cabinet lights in the kitchen that could all be turned on with one motion detector. While this could be done by rewiring everything... sure would be a lot easier with some tasmoda devices. Part of the problem is the cabinets and counter space are separated by a window and also by a refrigerator. It is in a two story house with no easy access to the wiring. Currently all the lights are plugged into outlets in the wall and must be turned on individually.
